The lore

The setting is the kingdom of Grand Albion (グランド・アルビオン), where fairies exist and once coexisted in harmony. The capital of the kingdom, Roan (ローアン), situated on the outskirts, maintains a precarious balance with foreign nations through the power of fairies. The story begins from a magnificent mansion located in the suburbs.

Here’s the synopsis from vndb.

One day, Applause was suddenly deprived of her family, her loved ones, and the village in which she lived. She vowed to take revenge on the person who took everything from her.

Then eight years later…
Concealing her true identity, she begins her search for the truth while working at the mansion of a prospective target for revenge.

“I will serve you with all my heart.”

What will her encounter with the honorable nobles who protect the country lead her to?
And what path will she choose?

…The revenge story of a girl trapped by a strange fate begins here.

Characters in the game belong to different races and hierarchical classes. Here are the translations, adapted from their official X posts.

Race and social hierarchy

Races existing in Grand Albion.

The only fairy queen in the mortal realm – Pure Fairy (Pure)
Those who possess the blood of both pure fairies and humans – Half-Fairy (Unique)
Mortals, the subjects under the queen’s protection – Humans (Human)
And those without power – Half-Breeds (Mingle)

Top – unique; bottom left – pure; bottom middle – human; bottom right – mingle.

In Grand Albion, there exists a social hierarchy based on race.

The hierarchy is broadly divided into four classes.

The five families supporting the queen and their relatives – Upper Class
Residents of the mortal realm bringing prosperity – Middle Class
Those with working power, the used individuals – Working Class
The dark underbelly of the country, the existence scorned and shunned – Lower Class

Order from top to bottom: tip of pyramid (pure), upper class (unique), middle class (human), working class (human, unique, mingle), lower class (human, mingle)

The “Five Families” refer to clans that trace their origins back to the five pure fairies who, alongside the queen, repelled foreign nations during the founding of the kingdom.

  • Founder of the Bernstein Clan: Sylph
  • Founder of the Creswell Clan: Spriggan
  • Founder of the Ward Clan: Cu Sidhe
  • Founder of the Sullivan Clan: Will o’ Wisp
  • Founder of the Lindel Clan: Púca

Game system

Mansion exploration system

While the official website hasn’t provided detailed information about this function yet, the official game trailer suggests that players can explore various areas in the mansion to acquire special fragments through conversations and observing documents.

Real vs. fake name

There will be options to enter both your chosen “real name” and a “fake name.” The protagonist, infiltrating the mansion, must adopt a false name to avoid revealing her survivor status and spends her days as a maid.

On the “real name” screen, the protagonist’s true appearance without disguise will be revealed!

Ending types

There are three endings for each character: ‘Dawn END,’ ‘Jester END,’ and ‘Lost Path END.’

The ‘Dawn END’ is the ending where you choose to be happy with the chosen love interest, while the ‘Jester END’ awaits those who choose revenge against him.

In the process of choosing between love and revenge, the ‘Lost Path END’ may unfold, which is the love triangle ends where you end up with two love interests.

Other features

The rest of the features are pretty standard Otomate stuff – quick  save, quick load, read and unread skip, and auto-mode. The game also has a flowchart system. From what I can see, there’s no mention of choice skip… which would be criminal af, Otomate!

Love triangle ends

Lost Path END

In the ‘Lost Path END,’ a story of a triangular relationship unfolds, with the narrative developing based on the combination of specific characters. The way the story ends varies depending on the character’s route.

CHARACTER COMBINATIONS AND THEMES

Edward × Protagonist × Linus

Theme: Childhood Friends

Edward and Linus – both striving from a young age to lead their respective families and ultimately guide the kingdom. However, as they grow, slight discrepancies emerge in their ideals. And with the presence of the protagonist, those differences become decisive.

Alfred × Protagonist × Lucas

Theme: Complicity

Alfred, burdened with a strong sense of responsibility as a leader of the family and kingdom, and Lucas, who tends to withdraw inwardly due to the wounds he carries. The two, with entirely different ways of thinking and living, share an inseparable fate. Where will the destiny of the intertwined past related to the protagonist go?

Ascot × Protagonist × John

Theme: Involvement of a Certain Individual

Ascot, the Queen’s attendant and the protagonist’s greatest enemy. John, the childhood friend whom the protagonist trusts more than anyone else. These two have no connection or enmity between them. Yet, a deep involvement with a person linked to the protagonist creates a new fate.

Thanks for reading! This was supposed to be a quick news post, but I ended up going down the rabbit hole and translating various information since I thought they’re quite interesting. Plus, Love and Deepspace has quite literally taken over my life in the last 48 hours, so things are a bit slow on the blogging end (I’m so obsessed, it’s actually concerning). Anyway, hope you enjoyed the post!
