Lovely, Inc. is stepping into the console and PC scene with their newest title, Snowkissed Romance! This a reimagined and nostalgic love story set against the snowy backdrop of Northern Japan in the mid-90s.
Known for their previous mobile hits, this marks the developer’s third release, and they’ve drawn direct inspiration from otome classics like Angelique and the Tokimeki Memorial series.
The team at Lovely, Inc.—Kayla Michelle and Yana Raeven—expressed their excitement to breathe new life into their original concept, all while paying homage to the beloved mid-90s otome era.

Set at a cozy ski resort during your final winter break before college, Snowkissed Romance follows an emotional reunion with your brother and his three college roommates—childhood friends you haven’t seen in years. Along with some new faces, players will navigate heartwarming slice-of-life moments infused with romance, all while balancing engaging stat-building mechanics and meaningful choices that shape the course of the story.

One of the game’s standout features is its innovative personality system. At the start of the game, your choices—like your zodiac sign and blood type—affect your compatibility with other characters, and how your personality evolves depends on your decisions throughout the story. These dynamics create a unique storytelling experience with multiple possible endings, offering players a truly personal journey.
For those eager to dive into the snowy nostalgia, a demo will be available on December 20th, 2024, alongside a Kickstarter campaign to fund the full release in 2025. Players can get a taste of the new mechanics during the demo, experiencing the opening days of what promises to be an emotional, wintery romance.
