Genso Manège set to arrive in English for Switch and Steam!

Otome gamers, we are officially entering the localisation era – PQube has announced the English release of Gensou Manège for Nintendo Switch and Steam! The release date is yet to be confirmed.

Gensou Manège is described as a ‘dream-like, fantasy’ otome game. It follows the story of Emma as she fights to reawaken her magical powers to aid the male leads, all of whom are trapped inside a magical travelling amusement park.

The game has six love interests. It follows a standard visual novel format but also features a mini game.

Gensou Manège was initially launched for Switch on January 30, 2020, in Japan under MAGES.’ LOVE & ART brand, followed by iOS on October 9, 2020.

Story and characters

  STORY

Close to the border of France there is a town called Blanc-Bourg.
Each spring the “Reve Traveling Amusement Park’ comes into town.

The protagonist Emma lives in Branbul and lead by the music from the carousel that her dead father loved she comes to the Reve.
In front of that carousel she meets the man that is the director of the Reve and learns a certain secret.

“All the people that work here are trapped in the park by magic.”
“So, we want your help. With your magic.”

While working in the park, in order to save the workers she aims to awaken the sleeping magic that is within her.

Her lost memories from before she was 10 and her lost magic. The secret of the Reve Traveling Amusement Park and the mystery of the Hamlin incident…
