I’m so sorry bubs, work has been eating me alive, and I haven’t been able to create content in peace… but Easter break to the rescue! In this mini-update, I want to talk about a couple of news items that I’ve missed since the last one (which honestly, hasn’t even been THAT long! We are eating so well this year, aren’t we). Let’s get to it.

Cupid Parasite SSD release date + LE showcase
Cupid Parasite: Sweet and Spicy Darling launches physically and digitally for the Nintendo Switch on May 28, 2024!
IFI also revealed a brand new game trailer.
For physical collections, we know IFI always goes hard with their bonuses. The game will receive a Limited Edition and Day One Edition! See slides below for the contents.
They will also have a Day One Edition Dual Pack, which combines the base game with the fandisc. This is a great option for those who has never played the CupiPara series and wants to snatch both copies in one go.

Getsuei no Kusari fandisc release date
TAKUYO announced that Getsuei no Kusari -Kyouran Moratorium- will be released on July 11, 2024! This game is the fandisc to Getsuei no Kusari -Sakuran Paranoia-. The game was originally released for PSP in 2013, and was ported to PSVita in 2016.
The game will also have physical copy for sale. The Limited Edition includes: Drama CD “One Day, with the Toudou Brothers…” Situation CD “Moon,” with two luxurious CDs included! Also featuring a short version of the theme song.

Volontés visual and character reveal
LocaGames EN gave us a teaser about their upcoming new game, Volontés, a few months back. Well, they recently revealed some brand new details about the game!
From LocaGames JP blog post: “Unveiling a tale of tragedy and suspense, set in a dark fantasy world, LocaGames announces the release of the new otome game “Witches and Spirits of Volontés” for Nintendo Switch within 2024.”
In addition, they said that the game is a “romantic adventure game of magic and suspense, where the protagonist, who has lost everything, confronts tragedy to find their own path in life.”

It was a dark age where the world was sealed, and a plague spread. One peaceful rural village was suddenly attacked by a knightly order, and you lost your family and village.
Just as you barely escaped, a suspicious man appears before you and invites you to a castle at sea. It was a beautiful magical country, developed in civilization.
The man says. You are the witch of the moon — revered as a sacred shrine maiden in this country, guiding the people to happiness and peace. You accept your duty, and a second life begins.

The blog post also outlined brief character information – but basically we have Fiena, our protagonist, and four love interests: Emmanuel (blonde hair), Ismail (golden dark hair), Melody (black hair) and Olivier (purple hair).
Since the EN account has been tweeting about it as well, I’m assuming (or hoping) the game will have an English version too, just like Yukar from the Abyss!
Love and Deepspace new feature
There are a couple of brand new, permanent features coming to Love and Deepspace, and WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT IT.
✿ Workout
To unlock this feature, you need to reach Affinity Level 30. The idea is for us players to invite our chosen companion to a workout session, and they will accompany us in their workout fits, all sweaty, with ragged breathing…. all the workout jazz. Talk about taking the delulu to the next level!
✿ Work & Study
This feature will unlock after reaching Affinity Level 20 with your companion. You can set study or work duration and literally, do those things with him. He can sit with you face-to-face, and you can change the lighting and recommend stuff for him to wear. OH, THE DELULU IS THE DELULUING Y’ALL.
There will be check-in calendar for these features, and you will get a reward for sticking in.

✿ Twinkle Photobooth AR Snapshot
We’re getting some upgrades to the photobooth system. We will have full control over choosing couple poses, adjusting lighting angles, and selecting background sceneries during photo shooting! To unlock this feature, you need to complete Main Story 2-15.
Super excited about these updates – I am particularly eyeing that workout feature! You bet your ass I’m gonna be the snatchiest (?) I’ve ever been in my life. Also, have you seen Zayne’s bulge… LaDS devs I see you.
